Consulting for closely-held companies . . . . .
For over 20 years, we at Peck & Associates have focused our consulting practice
on closely held companies in a period of transition, such as rapid growth,
strategic change, or succession planning.
 | We work primarily (though not
exclusively) with manufacturing, professional services, and technology companies that typically range
in sales from about $25 to $200 million. |
 | We align ourselves with the top management and help them make informed
choices as they deal with competing opportunities and constraints, striving to
get the right people in the right jobs at the right time. |
 | While most recruiting
firms define a project as "successful" if someone is hired, we
believe that most companies do not think a recruiting project is
successful unless the new hire thrives and makes a long-term contribution.
|
We
believe a successful recruiting project has three essential phases . .
These phases
do NOT
all have to be done by us, but some management time is required to assure the effort will
solve the problem. We can do all of these or "unbundle"
and do whatever piece makes sense, given the client’s resources and expertise.
 | Integration . . . . .
This phase
occurs after the hire.
 | This is ongoing
support to help address predictable stresses as the new executive merges into the uniquely
complex structure and culture of the closely held company. |
 | The more change the
new employee is expected to create, the greater the stresses. |
|
Fee Structure. We charge by the hour, performing against a set timetable and budget,
providing maximum flexibility and value to our clients.
Our goal is to position you to make informed decisions regarding
organizational options and people available to you to meet your business needs.
We welcome the opportunity to talk with you further to assess whether we bring
value to you and your business.
